Sean left May 8, 2005 for his 4 month deployment. Karli decided to head to Colorado Springs to stay with her parents while he was away because of the pregnancy. It has been very hard being apart from each other, especially now with the baby! But we have been able to talk to each other every day, and we get to see each other on the webcam 1-2 times a week on Sean's days off. He has been very busy supporting the War on Terrorism, and Karli is very proud of him! Karli is glad he gets to defend our freedom and protect out great country, but she definitely misses him and is ready for him to be home! She is counting the days until he is back home, so we can share the last 3 months of the pregnancy together. She will be heading back to Minot the end of August, to have some time before Sean gets home to clean up the house and get back to normal life!
